New worst way to promote your album discovered
Just do what the Arcade Fire are doing and release 30-second snippets of every song. It’s a great way to make every song on your new record sound some combination of boring and terrible.
Somewhere the 2004 Arcade Fire is reading this page and singing “Wake Up.”
This is how every single album in the iTunes Store is promoted — you can only hear 30 seconds of any song before purchase. It seems to be working just fine. If a band’s originality can’t be conveyed in any of its snippets, chances are the band just sucks.
